Congratulations Spartan!

It's been a busy month for Andy Durrance of Pestforce East London and not just with work!

Earlier this month Andy made the trip to Lake Tahoe USA to compete in the Spartan World Championships. Being one of around 12,000 other participants, Andy managed to get both 3rd place in age group 50+ and 1st place in age group 55+ "not bad for a silly old sod" he tells me!

And as if that wasn't enough of a challenge, last weekend Andy competed in the OCR (Obstacle Course Race) World Championships in Brentwood. If you're up early enough, you can catch the highlights this Saturday 27th October on Channel 4 5:55am - 6:50am.

What's next.....?

Next weekend Andy will be competing in the Spartan Trifecta World Championships OCR in Greece, an invitation only event up Mount Olympus!

This is just a small insight to the races that Andy competes in and after starting the OCR Championships just 2 years ago and having travelled all over the world, Andy is now number 2 in the world for his age group! Well done Andy!
